High and low wide flange beams frame into a wide flange column per plan, featuring a stepped profile with collector beams. The web connections utilize eight bolts on each side, increased per detail requirements, and are positioned to maintain a one-and-a-half-inch minimum clearance from the complete joint penetration weld. The top flange of the column is blocked on each side. A WT booster is provided per plan at the low wide flange beam. A complete joint penetration weld is specified and ground smooth where there is no top flange.
