Cast-in-place concrete stair construction supported on ninety percent compacted fill features a concrete footing measuring ten inches minimum width and one foot zero inches minimum depth. The stair slab contains number three reinforcing bars spaced at twelve inches on center each way. Each step includes a number three nosing bar. The footing is reinforced with two number four bars. The stair bears against an asphalt concrete paving or concrete slab at the base.
