A continuous 3x3x3/8 bent plate forms the roof perimeter, aligning with the bottom of deck at its back face. A continuous 3x3x3/8 angle supports the metal deck at the flat roof transition where the slope varies. A 1/4 inch fillet weld secures the deck assembly with specified spacing. Additional welding requirements for the metal deck are referenced to sheet S5.31.
