This exterior wall assembly features six-inch cold-formed metal framing finished on the interior with one-half-inch gypsum wall board. The exterior side is sheathed with five-inch gypsum sheathing protected by a fluid-applied air and weather-resistive barrier. An adhesive and drainage plane layer secures exterior mineral wool board insulation and thermally improved insulation board fasteners. The exterior finish consists of an EIFS base coat and finish coat incorporating a vertical control joint.
