Utility trenches and backfill operations must maintain specific clearance boundaries relative to concrete footings and piers as governed by the geotechnical report. Excavation for pipe trenches parallel to the footing is prohibited within the hatched boundary zone extending outward from the footing base at a 2 to 1 slope. Utility pipes must maintain a minimum one-foot six-inch horizontal clearance from the foundation wall. Backfill material must be placed and compacted in accordance with geotechnical recommendations.
