An L3x3x1/4 angle spans the opening and connects to the bottom flutes of the metal deck, extending a full length of angle or with a minimum length of three bottom flutes toward the next opening or adjacent beam. Number 4 trim bars are placed within the concrete fill around the perimeter of the opening. The concrete fill occurs as shown with a maximum two-inch trim width, and deck spans are detailed with an eight-foot maximum dimension.
