An HSS24x12 structural steel column connects to HSS10x6 steel canopy members sized per plan. L4x4x3/8 by 0'-7" typical centered angles are welded to the assembly with 3/16 inch fillet welds on all four sides. Additional welded connections specified at three inches on both sides tie the intersecting steel framing securely together.
