The wall connects to a continuous concrete footing featuring three number four continuous bottom bars and one number four continuous top bar, with number four transverse bars at eighteen inches on center. Number five dowels spaced at twenty-four inches on center extend from the footing with a two-foot minimum lap splice to tie into the wall. A concrete slab bears against the wall stem and footing step with reinforcement detailed per the foundation plan.
