A pre-cast trench drain is embedded within a concrete slab and thickened concrete haunch. A pour joint runs along the sloped interface of the trench edge. Reinforcement consists of number four epoxy-coated bars placed at twelve inches on center, supplemented by five continuous number four epoxy-coated bars running longitudinally at the base of the haunch. The placement coordinates with mechanical and architectural drawings.
