The construction joint features a three-quarter-inch minimum wide continuous formed key and a bond broken with a curing compound along the joint interface. The control joint incorporates a one-eighth-inch saw-cut extending to a depth of one-quarter of the slab thickness "t". Both slab conditions include reinforcement placed per plan with three inches of clear cover over the subgrade.
