A wide flange beam flange receives a B-Line beam clamp secured by a set screw. A B-Line 825 clamp is specified for flange thicknesses under three-eighths of an inch, while an 828 clamp is used for thicknesses between three-eighths and seven-eighths of an inch. A pivoted hanger bracket attaches below the clamp to support a downward-sloping B22 strut member. Units weighing less than twenty-five hundred pounds utilize a B-Line 980 connector to the strut, while heavier units require a 986 connector.
