A steel stair stringer constructed from an L3x3x1/4 angle connects to a thickened slab on grade and mat foundation. The assembly is secured using three-quarter-inch diameter by eight-inch expansion anchor bolts at each stringer, accompanied by a three-sixteenth-inch fillet weld on three sides. The foundation incorporates number four reinforcing bars spaced at eighteen inches on center. The slab on grade features a thickened section measuring two feet typical, supported by the underlying mat foundation of specified plan thickness.
