A half-inch by eight-inch by eight-inch steel plate is anchored to a concrete panel edge with four three-quarter-inch diameter welded stud anchors providing a four-inch embedment. A gate hinge specified per architectural drawings is centered vertically on the plate edge and secured with a quarter-inch fillet weld on three sides.
