An intermediate vertical MC8x channel member spans between hollow structural section supports located at the top and bottom. The vertical channel connects using L4x4x3/8 angles attached at the top and bottom with two three-quarter-inch diameter machine bolts each. One-quarter-inch fillet welds secure the connection assembly with a two-inch return typical. The hollow structural sections are sized per elevation.
