A four-inch diameter standard steel pipe post with a one-quarter inch cap plate and flush seam weld all around is mounted to a structural steel beam supporting an eye bolt as required. The structural beam features full-height three-eighths inch stiffener plates on both sides welded with five-sixteenths inch typical fillet welds. The post extends above the top of the roofing by a coordinated minimum of four inches and a maximum of three feet zero inches. The support connects back to a structural beam per plan using a bolted connection.
