A supported steel beam frames into the web of a supporting steel beam using bolted connection angles, carrying a metal roof deck above. The supporting steel beam is sized per plan, while the supported steel beam is also sized per plan. Structural fasteners secure the framing angles to both the supporting beam web and the supported beam web.
