A structural beam connects to an HSS jamb per elevations using a 3/8-inch by 1-foot-8-inch bent plate and a 3/8-inch by 1-foot-3-inch bent plate. Four bolts spaced at 3 inches on center secure the connection through vertical holes in the LSL per note 3.
