A concrete slab nib is anchored to the ground floor slab using twelve-millimeter starter bars at four hundred millimeter centers embedded with Hilti RE-500 epoxy to a depth of one hundred twenty-five millimeters. The starter bars feature a ninety-degree hook turned into the nib and tie into a continuous twelve-millimeter longitudinal bar. A damp-proof membrane runs beneath the ground floor slab. The nib supports a glazing or partition wall sized and located per the architect.
