Steel deck bears across structural steel edge beams with configuration options for parallel and perpendicular orientations. Twelve-gauge continuous bent plates are welded to the edge beam supporting the steel deck, with three-quarter-inch diameter fasteners spaced at twelve inches on center. Additional support uses an L4x4x1/4 angle spaced at eight feet maximum per detail 9D. Sixteen-gauge continuous bent edge plates finish the perimeter for perpendicular deck conditions.
