A branch duct supplies air to a flush cover diffuser or register installed in a non-T-bar hard ceiling. An opposed blade damper is positioned inside the duct with an end bearing supporting a square damper rod. A concealed damper regulator is integrated into the assembly, featuring a square socket driver accessible through a flush cover.
