A continuous concrete curb bears directly on top of a concrete slab. The curb is reinforced with a continuous number four rebar running longitudinally. Number four hooked dowels spaced at twenty-four inches on center anchor the curb into the underlying slab, epoxied two and one-half inches deep into the cured concrete. Slab thickness and reinforcing are sized per structural plans and notes, while curb dimensions are coordinated with the architect.
