Shear stud rails terminate at the face of the concrete column typically, with rail ends aligning in line with column faces unless noted otherwise. Two equal spaces are maintained between parallel stud rails extending from the column support. A slab edge offset of two inches is maintained, with similar detailing applied at angled slabs with skewed rails.
