An open-web steel joist bears onto a concrete tilt-up wall panel through a bearing angle connected to an embedded steel plate. The embedment plate measures 1/2 inch by 12 inches by 1 foot 4 inches and is secured with four 3/4-inch diameter by 5-inch heavy-duty sleeve anchors at 9 inches on center. The joist bearing angle is an L5x5x3/8 shape equipped with a 3/8-inch center stiffener plate. A continuous #6 reinforcing bar runs horizontally at the joist bearing elevation. A continuous deck bearing angle L5x3x1/4 is welded parallel to the metal roof deck flutes.
