A wide-flange beam is connected to a vertical cold-formed steel stud wall, specified as 600S162-43 steel studs at 16 inches on center. The beam is secured to the stud assembly using a TSN StiffClip SLB600, which is fastened to the stud with three number 12 screws and has its heel welded to the edge angle with a minimum 1/8-inch fillet weld. The beam connection itself is sized per the typical schedule, while the roof deck and bent plate are referenced to their respective schedule and detail sheets.
