Edge reinforcing requirements for post-tensioned concrete slabs at both banded and uniform tendon layouts. The banded tendon detail features three-foot long number three hairpins spaced at eight inches maximum with a minimum of one hairpin on each side of each anchor, alongside two number four continuous bars placed behind anchors and one number four continuous bar at the slab edge. Additional reinforcement includes two number four top and bottom bars spaced at twelve inches extending two feet past the last tendon at each end, plus one number four top and bottom continuous bar omitted at edge beams where they occur. Uniform tendon layouts incorporate one number four continuous bar at the slab edge, two number four continuous bars behind anchors, and one number four top and bottom continuous bar.
