A WT brace connects to a three-eighths-inch gusset plate welded with a one-half-inch minimum fillet weld typical to the supporting beam and column flange. The brace flange secures to the gusset plate using two three-quarter-inch diameter A325N bolts at each end of the plate. A secondary angle member L5x3x3/8 connects via two three-quarter-inch diameter A325N bolts typical at each end. Section A-A details the angle attachment spanning back to the structural framing.
