An eight-inch concrete wall supports a hollowcore plank bearing on a roughened construction joint with one-quarter-inch high amplitude uniform relief. Continuous number four top and bottom reinforcing bars extend into the core space, which is enclosed and cell-filled with low-shrink concrete. Vertical reinforcing consists of number five bars at twelve inches on center with standard hooks, while horizontal reinforcing utilizes number five bars at eight inches on center. The manufacturer cuts the hollowcore plank as required to accommodate the embedded rebar and wall ties.
