A structural steel beam connects to a vertical hanger plate sized per plan. A hanger plate measuring 1/2 inch by 6-3/4 inches by zero feet nine inches rests on top of the steel beam flange. Bolts secure the plate assembly with a typical two-inch dimension and centerline alignment for the hanger.
