A window washing davit base and embed are provided by the equipment supplier, sized for a 4.6 kip factored axial load and a 62.1 kip-foot factored moment. The davit rests on a 1/2-inch by 10-inch by 0'-10" steel plate welded to a hollow structural section support sized per plan with three-eighths-inch fillet welds. Grating is installed around the base per plan.
