A steel column anchors to a concrete footing and foundation wall. A 6-inch steel track sits on a concrete slab on grade, secured with number ten tek screws at each stud and anchored with half-inch diameter anchor bolts at thirty-two inches on center with eight inches of minimum embedment. The eight-inch concrete wall contains two number four continuous top and bottom bars, with number four continuous bars at eighteen inches on center maximum, supported by a concrete footing with number four hooked dowels at eighteen inches on center with alternate bends. A tilt-up concrete panel opening features a seven-and-a-quarter-inch thick concrete tilt-up panel reinforced with number five bars at eighteen inches on center each way. An attachment angle measuring L 4x3x3/8 by four inches long connects to an embed plate measuring half-inch by six inches by twelve inches with two three-quarter-inch diameter by six-inch heavy stud anchors on each side of the panel. An embed angle measuring L 5 by three-and-a-half by five-sixteenths by five inches features two half-inch diameter by twenty-four-inch deformed bar anchors and one three-quarter-inch diameter by six-inch heavy stud anchor on each side of the panel, resting on one-and-a-half inches of non-shrink grout above a concrete footing. After erection of the panels and welding of connections, all steel plates and angles are coated with an eighth-inch minimum of bituminous cement.
