Precast concrete panels are connected using embedded half-inch plates welded together with quarter-inch fillets on each side and reinforced with diagonal number eight bars measuring four feet long. A three-quarter-inch by one-and-a-half-inch by one-foot-four-inch plate is integrated into the joint assembly. Blockouts are provided for placement and subsequently patched. Section A-A indicates a one-and-a-half-inch depth at the blockout location.
