A new concrete slab bears against an existing concrete wall with the interface joint roughened to a one-quarter inch minimum amplitude. Dowels or reinforcement tie the new slab into the existing wall with embedment detailed separately and lap lengths referenced on sheet eight. A supporting subgrade condition is noted below the slab at the wall junction.
