The roof deck is secured to a continuous steel angle, which is welded to an embed plate cast into the top of the concrete tilt-up wall panel. The deck is attached to the angle using five-eighths-inch diameter puddle welds as specified per detail 4/S303. The embed plate is installed per detail 5/S501, with a one-quarter-inch fillet weld applied at each embed location. Where required, continuous two-by treated wood blocking is provided at the top of the wall panel as referenced in detail 2/S301.
