A cast-in-place concrete edge beam supports a concrete slab and reinforcement sized per plan. The beam features longitudinal reinforcement and stirrups/ties configured per schedule with a typical three-quarter-inch chamfer at the exterior corner. A six-inch embedment typical is provided for the slab reinforcement extending into the beam. Clear cover is maintained at one and one-half inches typical for the bottom and side reinforcement.
