Cold-formed steel joists bear directly on a top track of a load-bearing wall stud, matching the size and gauge specified in the schedule. A continuous rim track matches the size and gauge of the cold-formed steel joist at the outer edge, connected using an L50 clip at each joist. Panel edge fastening secures the sheathing to the rim joist and top surface per plan. Number 10 sheet metal screws fasten each flange at each end. Wall studs are sheathed with panel edge fastening as required by the structural plan.
