This structural detail provides two configurations for slab-on-grade depressions: one for depressions two inches or less, and another for depressions greater than two inches up to a maximum of one foot six inches. The assembly rests on a granular sub-base layer and includes typical slab reinforcement supplemented by a number four continuous nosing bar at the depression break points. Dimensions indicate clearances and transition zones spanning two feet on either side of the step. Additional information is referenced on sheet three.
