A supported steel beam with coped flanges connects to a supporting beam using a cleat and bolts. The assembly features single and double cope configurations with coped beam flanges as shown. A 240x115x12 cleat plate with a 10mm fillet weld attaches to the supporting member web. Three M24 bolts secure the supported beam web to the cleat connection.
