Four number four Grade 80 continuous reinforcing bars are spaced at three inches on center at the reentrant corner of the concrete slab. Additional reinforcing bars are placed in the same plane as the typical mat reinforcing extending four feet typically from the corner. A one-and-a-half-inch clearance is maintained from the edge of the slab.
