Corrugated metal deck bears directly across the top of a hollow structural section support sized per plan. Four puddle welds secure the deck to the support per sheet in the transverse direction, while longitudinal puddle welds are spaced at twelve inches on center. The hollow structural section sizing and gauge are determined by structural layout drawings.
