A metal stud wall framed with members sized per schedule and a minimum of 33 mils thickness connects vertically to ceiling joists. Two number eight screws secure each stud to the top track, and two number eight screws fasten blocking where indicated. The ceiling framing incorporates 362T125-43 ceiling ties attached with two minimum number eight screws at each joist, with two additional number eight screws securing each joist directly.
