A structural steel connection frames a beam and truss girder into a column centered on a grid line. A 7/8-inch by 2-foot-6-inch Grade 50 knife plate connects the framing, secured with three 3/8-inch stiffener plates at 4-inch gauge centered typical, and a 3/4-inch by 1-foot-2-inch wide plate with two 3/4-inch diameter erection bolts typical. Fillet welds of 1/4-inch, 7/16-inch, 1/2-inch with field weld symbols, and 5/16-inch sizes join the steel plates. A 3/4-inch by 6-inch stabilizer plate is left unwelded to the girder.
