A continuous deck bearing angle measuring 3x3x1/4 is oriented perpendicular to the metal roof deck flutes and welded with 3/16 fillet welds to a 3/8 by 8 inch by 0'-4" embed plate. The embed plate is anchored into the top of the masonry wall using two 3/4 inch diameter by 5 inch headed stud anchors spaced at 32 inches on center. Two continuous reinforcing bars match the horizontal wall reinforcing at the deck bearing. Where required, joist bridging is attached per the joist supplier instructions with welds provided by the supplier.
