A four-inch concrete housekeeping slab sits atop a structural slab on metal deck, secured by number four adhesive anchors spaced at twenty-four inches on center each way. The layout starts six inches from the edge of the housekeeping slab, and slab reinforcement ties directly to the dowels. Number four reinforcing bars centered in the slab run at twelve inches on center each way. Dowels are centered in the deck flutes, with an option to replace them with number four bars cast directly into the concrete slab. Sizing and location are coordinated per the mechanical contractor requirements.
