Type N steel deck features a 3-inch depth and 24-inch module with 20 gauge steel. Side laps are secured with sheared side lap connections at 24 inches on center maximum. Each support condition requires a minimum of four 1/2-inch diameter effective puddle welds. Section properties include a moment of inertia of .837 inches to the fourth per foot and positive/negative section moduli of .508 and .562 inches cubed per foot.
