A foundation pile cap designated as Type PC-6 has a thickness of five feet six inches. The layout is supported by Type C continuous flight auger piles located below and coordinated with sheet S5.01. Reinforcement consists of number nine bars spaced at six inches on center each way in both top and bottom layers, finished with ninety-degree standard hooks at each end. Forged T-heads are specified at the end of the continuous flight auger pile longitudinal reinforcement. The cap centers align with the shear wall end column unless noted otherwise on the foundation dimension plan.
