Deck support angles comprised of L3x3x3/16 are attached to a wide-flange, hollow structural section, or boxed column with a sixteen-gauge closure plate. The deck support angles are supplied by the structural steel contractor. A typical three-inch vertical clearance or dimension is maintained.
