A primary timber girder member connects to a secondary timber beam using a double concealed steel connector plate assembly. The primary girder is routed to receive the connector plate and is fastened with four SDCF271100 screws spaced at two inches on center on each side. The assembly requires a three-eighths-inch gap between members, with bottom and side covers sized per the project schedule. The connector plate and screws are installed with a maximum plus-or-minus one-quarter-inch tolerance on the connector width.
