A continuous angle measuring L6x6x5/16 connects to a bent plate at the slab edge to support the curtain wall mullion. The continuous bent plate measures one-quarter inch thick and bears on the steel beam supporting the concrete slab over metal deck. A three-sixteenth-inch fillet weld with two-inch length and twelve-inch spacing secures the angle to the bent plate. Additional slab edge information is referenced to detail 2 on sheet S5.22, and the curtain wall interface is coordinated with the architectural drawings.
