A structural angle brace is formed by an L4x4x3/8 angle connected to gusset plates at each end. Each gusset plate is three-eighths of an inch thick and secured with two three-quarter-inch diameter A325-N bolts. A typical one-quarter-inch fillet weld is specified for the gusset connections. The brace links a primary structural beam to an adjacent framing member at a specified angle, with two-inch clearances indicated at the top and bottom connections.
