An HSS beam or girt frames into an HSS column or embed plate with a five-sixteenths inch fillet weld. A corresponding beam-to-beam connection joins an HSS beam, girt, or embed to another HSS member using matching five-sixteenths inch fillet welds. A weep hole is provided at exterior conditions to prevent moisture accumulation within the structural members.
